“ Sightglass is my go-to neighborhood coffee spot. The coffee is really delicious, as well as their matcha (not too sweet!), and chai. Their seasonal beverages they've started integrating the past few seasons have mostly been a hit with the exception of the orange marmalade espresso tonic, that I've found to be way too strong in the orange flavor. Their staff are always pleasant, genuine, kind, and full of compliments. They've taken the time to remember my name, as I'm a regular, and I enjoy small banter with them on less busy days :) Their pastries have always been good but not great. They recently refreshed their offerings though and I'm super stoked to try the new additions of new pastries and other food items! So far the bacon scone and almond financier have been a hit. It can get way over crowded sometimes but that's just a sign of how lovely the vibe, coffee, and treats are :) My only gripe is that I wish they would close the door on colder days. Coming in the middle of winter, especially rainy windy days, it was a little hard to stay too long, even when I kept my coat on ”
“ I had a client meeting in the area, and right after that, I needed to finish some paperwork, so I found this very modern coffee shop. It was busy, so I had to look for a seat, but that was okay. The staff was friendly and made my cup of vanilla latte quickly. I enjoyed my coffee, got some work done, and even enjoyed the ambiance. ”
“ Sightglass is right on divis, making it a lively coffee shop to stop by! I got an iced brown butter miso caramel latte decaf and with oat milk, and also a ham and cheese croissant. The drink was super smooth and subtle in taste, I liked it a lot! It wasn't that sweet and had a slight umami taste. It was really refreshing and I couldn't tell that it was decaf from taste! The ham and cheese croissant was sooo good, it was perfectly flakey but not too buttery. I loved the everything but the bagel seasoning on it as well! There is a good amount of space inside but still feels a bit cramped, so I wouldn't choose to do work here. Still, the vibes were good and loved the ambiance and lighting inside! ”
“ i love the seating set up, i think it's a great spot to work from and they had such unique drink options. i went when they were super busy but i did not feel like the quality of my coffee was affected. i got a seasonal beverage, the miso latte and it was very well balanced. ”
“ Staff was friendly and hospitable! Generous and friendly Sightglass coffee just may be my next Go-to Co-working space ”
“ I really love Sightglass and recommend it as one of the to 3 places to get anything espresso anywhere in the city. Their espresso is beautifully smooth and nutty. It gives me a warm, cozy feeling in the middle of winter. Pastries are sourced from Neighborhood Bakehouse and the savory options (can't speak to sweet) are really great. I enjoyed the herbed goat cheese pretzel, but the big winner was the everything croissant. It's a big, flakey square covered with assorted seeds on top and bottom. In the middle is a surprise later of soft cheese (maybe more goat cheese) with scallions. Sorry there's no picture, it was half gone before I knew it. The place is full of natural and soft electric light and the baristas also spin vinyl (including customer contributions that fit the vibe). Well behaved dogs are welcome to come in and wait with their people. ”
“ Highlights are the vanilla paste latte and brown butter miso caramel latte. They're such tasty treats, and these two drinks are the only reason why I'm giving 4 instead of 3 stars. Speckled with bits of vanilla bean, the vanilla paste latte is a close second to my favorite vanilla latte from HandleBar in Santa Barbara, and I love the unique flavor of the brown butter miso caramel latte. But they're expensive for their small size ($7.50 and that's without milk substitutions), so I'd only come back for these lattes once in a while and if I was in a "treat yourself" kind of mood. I usually like hints of cardamom, but I didn't like their cardamom mocha because the spice was quite strong and even savory. Every time I've went, inside has always been full mainly with people on their laptops, so I wouldn't count on having your drink "for here." I'd also love if they had another menu before the cashier, so I wouldn't have to scramble to order or hold up the line as I decide. They also offer pastries from local bakeries like Neighbor Bakehouse. ”
“ I ordered an iced vanilla latte when I was visiting. The staff were all polite, service was quick, and the drink was good as well. The drink was about $8. Sightglass on Divisidero has a lot of tables to sit at to talk with friends or do work. They do not have any outlets or wifi, so be aware of that if you need to get your work done. The interior is nice as well. ”
“ Sightglass is one of my favorite places to get a Coffee and get work done in the city. I have not been to the other locations, but the one in Divisadero has a great selection of drinks, tables, and pastries. For me, the coffee at sightglass is not my favorite coffee in the city. However, their coffee is still very good and it is like the perfect place to get work done. All the staff are really nice. The tables are clean, and the bathrooms are clean as well. The café does not have Wi-Fi or outlet. A drink is about $7-8. ”
